ABOUT US
At the Katy Baker School of Dance we strive for excellence. We aim to develop the young dancers' technical skills alongside their creativity and individuality. We are a friendly school, welcoming children of all ages and abilites.
The Katy Baker School of Dance offers classes in Ballet, Tap and Contemporary Modern in which pupils are entered for IDTA examinations when they have reached the required standard.
We aim to develop confidence in each individual and bring out every dancers full potential. Classes are centred on building technique alongside fun and creative approaches to learning. Building lifelong friendships is an important part of the ethos at the Katy Baker School of Dance and every child becomes part of our dance family.
Dancers have the chance to compete in festivals throughout the year as part of our successful festival team. These are extra opportunities for dancers to perform on stage and have fun.
